Updated 05/19/2026 | Published 05/17/2026 >
Question:
I have a 2015 Blue ridge fifth wheel made by Forest River. The attached pictures show the valve I removed. I need a replacement. Im sure of the length of my cable. I was hoping the numbers on here would let you know that. Can you help me?

Hey Kim, thanks for reaching out, and thanks for providing those pictures. Looks like you are needing a standard cable-actuated 3" waste valve body. We have one just like that which will allow you to reuse the existing cable. The numbers on the valve and the picture help identify the part but they don't tell me how long the cable was. Here is what I recommend:
- Valterra Waste Valve Body for RV Black Water Tank w/ Coupler, Seals, and Hardware - 3" Diameter # T1003PBC
Do you still have the old cable?

The 3” Valterra valve has issues that Valterra needs to address. The O Ring that seals around the shaft that opens and closes the gate dries out and makes the gate extremely hard to open and close. For this reason I do not recommend this valve.
