Has anyone been able to figure out if we can use other adapters for the newer style Toyota tundra’s? Thule xsporter rack I know thule it’s coming out with one in June but do you guys know if anyone has ever used another adapter? I have a fish trip coming up and I need a mountain bracket that can just get me by

If you already have a Thule Xsporter rack, then no, there aren’t any other adapters that will work with it. Both Yakima and Kuat do offer ways to mount their racks to the 2026 Toyota Tundra deck rail system, but the way their uprights attach is unique to each brand’s setup.

The only compatible option for your Xsporter would be the Thule Adapter Kit # TH34FR66AX, which, like you mentioned, isn’t expected to be available until June 2026.

One option you could use in the meantime would be the RodBunk Deluxe Fishing Rod Carrying System # IMF17727. It could definitely help get you by for your upcoming trip.
