Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. And today, we're gonna take a brief look at this Thule Xsporter Pro and TracONE ladder rack adapter kit. Now, this adapter kit is going to let you install the Xsporter Pro and TracONE adjustable ladder racks on your 2016 to current Toyota Tacoma with a factory truck bed rail system. Now, on your screen, I am also including our item numbers for the Xsporter Pro and TracONE for your reference. Now, these clamps are going to replace the existing clamps on your Xsporter Pro, and slide into your Xsporter Pro's base assemblies, and into the tracks on your Tacoma bed rails. The secure lock clamp covers that are included with your exporter pro are going to lock these clamps into your bed rails.
Now, this includes everything that you see here on the table before me. You are going to get eight clamps and eight screws, and then you're also going to get instructions to walk you through the installation process. And just looking over some of the reviews on our product page here at etrailer.com, our customers seem to be very happy with this kit and what it does for them. And I think you will as well. etrailer did a great job helping me find these. They just about work to fix a Thule Trac-one rack onto a 2024 Tacoma. The bolts supplied are too long and tend to chafe at the side of the truck bed, so I replaced them with 1.5 inch socket head cap screws. The rack cannot be located as far back as I would have liked because of the electrical outlet cover. Therefore the rack spans a little under 4 ft, front to back. It feels firmly attached, though.
Had a hard time finding the correct clamps for a used Thule TracRac for install on a 2024 Toyota Tacoma. Thule customer service claimed they didn’t have existing clamps that would work.etrailer proved them wrong. They DO work on the 2024 Toyota Tacoma with the proprietary rail system. One complaint is one of the e-trailer clamps I received was machined poorly and would not allow the bolt to thread in the correct position. A little adjustment was required, but ultimately worked. etrailer customer service was excellent and a huge help in solving my problem. I hope this review and attached photos help.

Great rack but wish I knew that I needed to purchase the adapter clamps before I ordered and received the rack. Even still, everything arrived as advertised and in a timely manner.

Do wish instructions were a little better (too tiny and lacking detail).
But since I had done this before with my 2009, I figured it out. ;)

I still give it 5 starts. One or two bolts come loose, but it still holds very well.
Works great with the Toyota Tacoma rail system. It is a little difficult to tighten them down. Not enough room to use a drill with attachment so it 1/2 turn at a time with an hex key.
