Roadmaster Stop Light Switch Kit for 2021 Chevrolet Colorado

I have the Demco Stay and Play system recently installed in my 2021 Colorado. It was originally in my 2012 Colorado. I believe I need the Roadmaster Brake Light Switch RM-751497 to successfully turn on the Red LED LIght inside the towed vehicle, to alert when the brakes are applied. Need to verify that this bracket does indeed fit the newer Colorado. I also understand that the negative battery terminal needs to be disconnected so that the trucks components are not damaged. I already have a Curt RVibrake Towed Battery cut off switch. Correct me if Im wrong but I believe this should work.

Hey Tim! The Roadmaster Stop Light Switch Kit # RM-751472 has the correct bracket for your 2021 Colorado. You will need this for the indicator light to function properly. The brake system still pulls power, so you will also want to add a charge line kit # RM-156-25. I'm not entirely sure which version of their disconnect you have since it's coming off a 2012, but more than likely it will work for this setup.

Where are you headed once you get the new Colorado set up for towing?
