How tall of a lip on the storage compartment will this clear?

Hi Darrin!
The MORryde RV Cargo Slide Tray - 90" x 23" - 2 Way Slide - 60 Percent Extension - 800 lbs # MR78RV can clear a lip up to 1.57 inches, so call it 1-1/2 inches to be safe. If you need it to be higher, we do also have the Height Adjustment Kit # MR34VR.
This has a few different adjustment settings and can be set to lift the tray 2-1/2", 2-3/4", or 3-1/8" higher if needed. You can see the three holes for those adjustments in the included picture.
