Lift Kit and Upgraded Equalizer for 2025 Forest River Impression 238RL

Updated 05/01/2026 | Published 04/30/2026

Question:

Hi, I have a 2025 Forest River Impression 238RL. My stock F-350 is pretty tall and the 5th wheel sits nose high. I would like to raise the trailer height by the axles so it rides level but would also like to upgrade the equalizers and suspension, stock is bare bones. Do you have an upgraded equalizer set and/or suspension that will work with the Correct Track in a 2 1/4inch lift configuration? Or is there another combo of kits/parts that would achieve my two goals?

Hey Thomas, welcome back! It looks like the leaf springs are already on top of the axle (overslung) so the Correct Track # RR55QX is the best option to lift the trailer. The triple axle kit you were looking at is the one you need for the 2-1/4" lift.

For an upgraded equalizer that is compatible with the Correct Track, I recommend the Dexter E-Z Flex Equalizer Kit. You need to choose the kit based on the size of your existing equalizer. If it measures 5-3/4" from the left to right bolt hole on center you need # K71-654-00. If the same measurement is 7-3/4" you need # K71-655-00 instead.

If you have a different measurement, let me know in the comments below and I'll help you find the best fit. Since we talked about it before, it is also worth mentioning that you can still add the Roadmaster Comfort Ride Shock Absorbers # RM-2460 with this setup.

Thanks Robin, appreciate your answers. Would the Cre3000 or Alltreck 4000 work with this setup? I was originally going to get 2 X-factor crossmembers when looking at the Roadmaster system. Would you recommend 3 with this setup or stay with the 2?

@ThomasH CRE3000 is not compatible with the Correct Track. AllTrek is compatible, but I prefer the Dexter since they're close to standard equalizer dimensions. The E-Z Flex is on my trailer, I can say it does a great job. More is typically better with the X-Factor # MR33WR and this setup will allow you to install one on the middle so I would go with 3 personally. If you want to stick with 2, put them on the front and rear hangers and see what you think. You can always add that third one later.
