Question:
Looking to replace the locking cylinder for my camper shell looks like someone messed with the cylinder with a tool or some sort of flat head trying to open the panel. My A.R.E. key has a 0010 code on the key if that helps find the correct cylinder. Thanks!

Hey, Jay. Thanks for reaching out.
It sounds like you’ve got an A.R.E. key, especially with that 0010 code you mentioned. If that’s the case, we unfortunately don’t have a direct replacement cylinder that would match that specific key.
Some A.R.E. caps do use BOLT locks, which we do carry. For example, the Replacement Lock Cylinder for BOLT Locks # BL692918 is an option, but it’s designed to key to your truck’s ignition key. So if your current setup isn’t using your ignition key, that one wouldn’t be a match for you. I've included a picture below showing what keys the BOLT cylinder is compatible with.
If you’re trying to keep everything keyed the same as it is now, your best bet would be to check with A.R.E. directly, since they can match that 0010 key code.
Does your current key say A.R.E. on it or is it blank?
