Can Victron 4,000w 48V Inverter Charger Power 2021 Keystone Montana Like 50A Shore Power Would?

Question:
I’ve got a 2021 Keystone Montana with 50 amp service. Can the VN95VR run everything like I’m plugged into shore power?

Hey David, great question - and this is where expectations are important.
The Victron Quattro inverter charger # VN95VR 48V can power your RV, including both legs of your panel, but it’s limited to 4,000 watts continuous output.
So, outlets, fridge, microwave, AC unit, not an issue at all. However, it's still not the full power equivalent of being hooked up to shore power since shore power is about 12,000w total, or 6,000w per leg.
Even though your RV is 50A, the inverter is limited by wattage, not amp rating.
What appliances are you hoping to run at the same time? I'll make sure this is the best fit for your setup.

Okay that makes sense. Thanks Andrew. So to clarify, I could run my AC unit and maybe microwave / coffee maker for a few hours in morning or evening?
