Features to know about

One Place to See and Run the Whole System

Once a power setup grows past a single inverter or battery, jumping between separate devices turns basic monitoring into a chore. The Cerbo GX fixes that by acting as the communication center for Victron products and supported third-party devices, pulling real-time system data into one interface with dashboards, a live power overview, and tank level tracking. Instead of piecing together what each component is doing, you can check one screen and see how the system is behaving right now.

Remote Access When the System Isn't Right in Front of You

When your equipment is parked at camp, tied up at the dock, or running at an off-grid site, you still need a clear view of what's happening. This unit provides remote monitoring through the Victron Remote Monitoring (VRM) portal and system control access through the VictronConnect app, with remote configuration via remote console, LAN, or Wi-Fi access point. You can check status, adjust settings, and stay on top of changes without standing next to the hardware.

Smarter Coordination Across Charging, Storage, and Loads

One of the biggest headaches in a multi-source setup is figuring out why power isn't moving the way it should between charging sources, batteries, and connected loads. The Cerbo GX runs on Venus OS with an intuitive interface and includes system optimization capabilities that coordinate system-wide actions to maximize performance, plus automation support using Node-RED for advanced workflows. In day-to-day use, that gives you a controller that can react to changing conditions across the system instead of leaving every adjustment up to manual intervention.

Flexible Installation for Tight Electrical Spaces

Control hardware only works well when it fits the space and stays practical to wire and service. This unit keeps its footprint compact at 3-1/16" tall x 6-1/16" wide x 1-7/8" deep, supports simple installation with DIN rail mounting, and runs on 8V to 70V DC while drawing 2.8 watts at 12V. With 2 USB host ports and 1 power-only port, you've got connection points built in without turning the install into a packaging problem.

Video Transcript for Review of Victron Smart RV - Cerbo GX Communication Center - VN23VR

Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look together at this Victron Cerbo GX Communication Center. Now, this is gonna, basically, be the brains of your Victron power system, so if you have solar panels, batteries, inverters, chargers, or a generator, this Cerbo GX is going to be the device that's going to tie everything together. This connects to all those components and lets you see what's happening in real time. You're gonna be able to see control settings and catch problems early all from one place.

Now, what makes this really nice is how flexible it is. You're gonna be able to plug in a wide variety of Victron devices using the VE.Direct, the VE.Can, USB, and Ethernet connections. And once this is hooked up, you can monitor your system locally on a screen, like on Victron's GX Touch display, or remotely from your phone or computer through the Victron's online portal, so that means that you're gonna be able to check battery levels, solar production, and power usage even when you're not on-site. Now, this is the MK2 version, and this improves on earlier models, with more connection options and better networking, making this a solid choice for your RV, boat, off-grid home, and backup-power systems. This is also going to support extras like sensors, relays, and pulse inputs, so more-advanced setups can automate things, like generator starts, or track fuel and tank levels.

So lemme go ahead and give you some measurements here just so you have a good idea of the size. Lemme see if I can just go ahead and measure it this way so I can make sure I'm giving you the most accurate measurement. Looking at what I'm gonna call the overall width, right at 6 inches, and this is going to be end-to-end here at the widest point. And then the width, right at about 3 inches. And then the depth, or height, right at about 1 3/4 inches.

Does include what you see here. So if you're looking for something that's gonna give you full visibility and control over your Victron power system, whether that's gonna be for convenience, peace of mind, or system optimization, this is going to be the hub that's going to make all of that possible. If you happen to have any other questions, whether it's about this or anything that we have here at etrailer, don't hesitate to reach out, because, ultimately, we wanna make sure that you're getting exactly what you need. Well, again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.
