Will Curt Echo Work On 2022 Jeep Wrangler With 4-Way Connector With 7-Way Adapter

I have a 2022 Wrangler without a tow package, but I added a 4-pin trailer connector and I have a 7-pin adapter. Will the Curt wireless brake controller work with that setup? Thanks! Joe

Hey Joe! When you say you have a 7-way adapter are you referring to the # ETBC7L you picked up? This will provide you with a 7-way connector and the necessary 12V power line to power a brake controller. Once installed, you will be able to use the Curt Echo # C51180 on your Wrangler.

I have used this brake control unit for a few months after I bought it. 1) At that time the app for the I phone did not display correctly, and was unusable. It did work on my I pad and displayed correctly. I set up the system at the Casita Factory with the help of a Tech there. My cross country trip went without incident, and you do not need to keep the I pad connected for it to work. Once the settings are in they are locked and stay active from use to use even when disconnected for over a month. I use the 7 pin connector provided by Toyota Tundra truck.
