The 5th wheel install kit you referenced, Reese # RP56007-53, is not a fit for the 3500 series; it fits only 1500 and 2500 series trucks. The custom-install kit for your 3500 is Reese # RP50064-58. I confirmed with my contact at Reese that this kit will work on your crew cab diesel dually. I have linked a video showing installation of this kit in a 2005 Silverado as well as the written instructions. I have also included an article on 5th wheel install tips.
