Review of Dexter Trailer Hubs and Drums 8-219-9UC3
Today we're going to take a look at the Dexter Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly #8-219-9UC3. This application fits 5200 lbs. through 7000 lbs. Dexter axle, Dexter axle with spindles that require a 2 1/4 inch ID seal. This is a pretty hefty unit weighing in at 45 lbs. It has a bolt pattern of 8 on 6 1/2 inches and includes everything you see here including bearings, races, seal, oil cap, wheel bolts and lug nuts.
The inner bearing has a replacement number of 25580 and the outer bearing has a replacement number of 14125A in case you need those down the road, they are available right here on etrailer.com. The stud diameter is 1/2 inch. The drum dimensions are 12 inches wide or 12 inches in diameter rather by 2 inches wide. It's a 10 36 seal with a 2 1/4 inch diameter. The capacity for this item is 3500 lbs.
