Question:

I am looking for a lift kit for a 2020 Forest River Flagstaff Super Lite 5th wheel 528ikws camper. My truck is a bit high for the camper, I have a 2018 RAM 3500 dually 4x4......I need to bring up my camper about 2 or so.

Hey Adrian, thanks for reaching out. We definitely should have a lift kit that will work for you, I'll just need to confirm what kind of axles are on your 5th wheel.

If your camper has round tube leaf spring axles, you can use the Correct Track Lift Kit # RR55QX. This will provide 2-1/4" of lift which will help level out your setup nicely.

If your camper has torsion axles, we have bolt-on lift block kits for that. Fitment of those will depend on your axle capacity and mounting hole spacing.

For example, the Torflex Lift Kit # K71-724-02 is for torsion axles with 4,100-6,000-lb capacities and 9-1/2" between bolt holes.

If you do have a torsion axle, check that axle capacity and bolt hole spacing and I can make sure you get exactly the right kit.

@AdrianJ Ok nice I would definitely take their word for it. So the # K71-724-02 I mentioned above is exactly right. Do you think the 2-7/8" of lift will get you where you need to be?

The correct track was exactly what I needed to lift my 5th wheel to level out with my new truck. I put it on my 2023 Cougar and I was able to do the work all by myself. It was nice to use the electric jacks on the camper to get the heights needed to make the install easy.
