Will Air Lift Air Helper Spring Cradle Fit Non-Lifted Trucks

Question:

The description of the cradle says its for lifted trucks, but can it be used for non lifted? Will this help when truck it put up on a lift so the bags don’t get damaged?

Hey Kenny, welcome back! Yes, you can install the Air Lift Air Helper Spring Cradle # AL59DQ on your 2016 Sierra 3500. This works for lifted applications as well as trucks at stock height. Since it replaces the lower mounting point and the air bag won't be attached you don't have to worry about damaging the air bags if you put the truck up on a lift system.

Hey Kenny, I used the Air Lift Air Helper Spring Cradle on my stock 2006 Tundra with no issues. I purchased the Firestone ride rite air springs and deleted the lower mount, then installed the spring cradle directly to the leaf spring pack. I have plenty of clearance between the cradle, truck body and wheel. Good luck! Bart
