Question:
I need to extend my ball’s location 4-5” in order to tow behind my truck and truck camper. This length would work. The trailer is only 7K so I don’t have any need for weight distribution. Can this shank be used with a head with a 2 5/16” ball for that tow weight without weight distribution? 1,400 lbs is more than I need, but I saw several weights listed and didn’t know if that tongue weight required the use of weight distribution. Thanks.

Hey Josh, yes you can use the Equalizer shank part # EQ90-02-4600 as a standard ball mount. We even have a ball mount attachment for these shanks with the part # BA-1 as well. Do you have a ball already? If not, the part # C40007 would be correct size ball and shank for your application.
