Powering the Demco Wireless Transmitter

Updated 04/08/2026 | Published 04/02/2026

Question:

I have the demco wireless transmitter, but I dont have a power port in my Entegra Vision XL. Do you have the adapter that will allow me to use the brake indicator in the rig. Then I can get the wireless transmitter hooked up in my toad vehicle.

I have a solution David, thanks for reaching out!

The Roadmaster 12V power kit # RM-9332 will create a 12 volt power outlet in your Entegra Vision XL.

You’re basically adding a new 12V outlet by running a positive wire to power and a ground wire to the chassis, then mounting the socket where you want it.

The install instructions are attached but also refer to manufacturer installation instructions and specs for complete information.

It works like your usual 12 volt outlet so it always gives you another option. If you need to plug something else into there, you can.

Where do you plan on mounting the braking monitor?

Not sure yet because I am not sure how the bare wires connect inside the toad vehicle. The g-force controller is inside the car and we may have solved the problem with the vacuum not working properly. The plug was installed backwards which caused too much brake to be applied even though the g-force controller was almost at the least amount of pressure. Could I use in the coach a USB C to 12V Adapter, USB C to 12V Cigarette Lighter Adapter ,Type C Male to 12V Cigarette Lighter Socket?

@DavidK The CoachLink needs a constant 12V supply, and USB-C ports don’t provide that unless everything matches perfectly, which usually isn’t the case in RVs.

@DavidK i used one of these in my Class C MB Entegra and I just bought an adapter from Amazon that I plugged into the power outlet on the dash and it had the same kind of female connector on it as the dash receptacle which I then plugged the Coachlink into.
