Question:
Will these rails work with a sliding hitch? We have a curt sliding hitch for a 2011 Chevrolet Silverado short bed truck and want to make sure these will fit with it.

Hi Tracy,
Yes, the rails part # C16411-104 will work with a sliding hitch as long as your Curt slider is designed for industry standard rails, which most of them are. This kit uses the standard above-bed rail layout, so if your hitch mounts using the four pin style legs and is not designed for an OEM puck system, it will drop right in and secure properly.
I completely understand wanting to double check that before installing, especially with a short bed truck where that sliding function is important for cab clearance. As long as your hitch matches that industry standard setup, you’ll be in good shape and won’t run into fitment issues.
If you want to be absolutely certain, feel free to share the model number of your Curt sliding hitch and I can confirm it for you. What fifth wheel are you towing, and where do you like to camp?
