Question:

Hello, I need to install a brake controller on my 2023 Toyota 4Runner for towing a camper. I need some help figuring out all parts I need to purchase. Im interested in the REDARC Tow-Pro Elite, and also need the controller knob. What accessories would I need for installation? The 4runner has the 7 pin, etc. Thanks!

Thanks for the information Laura! The Redarc Tow-Pro Elite Brake Controller w/ Custom Harness item # RED56CR is exactly what you need for your 2023 Toyota 4Runner. This kit comes with the brake controller, custom fit plug in wiring harness, and a universal mounting panel for the control knob. It will give the brake controller knob a from the factory look.

The wiring harness included with the Redarc item # RED56CR will plug into a factory connector that is located above and to the left of the emergency brake pedal as shown in the photo below. This will make the install quick and easy because you won't have to cut and splice into any wires.
