Question:
I just bought a 2025 Toyota 4Runner SR5 and want to add a brake controller. The owners manual claims it has a service connector for a brake controller under the dash. Do you sell an adapter for the RDC or any other “hidden” brake controller that will fit my vehicle? Thanks

Hello John, thanks for reaching out. Does your 2025 4Runner already have a 7-way plug installed on the back? If no, you will need the # ETBC7 kit in order to use a brake controller.
If you already have a 7-way you should already be prepped for a brake controller. If you like the Redarc, you can use the Redarc Tow-Pro Elite Brake Controller # RED44FR. There is no custom pigtail for the 2025 4Runner, so you would be using the included universal pigtail to wire in the controller. Then you have the control knob to mount on the dash. Definitely the best option for a hidden controller.
Take a look at the video I linked for you below. Feel free to leave a reply with any other questions or comments and I will get back to you.

Hey John, how did things go with wiring in the Redarc Tow-Pro Elite on your 4Runner? Did the universal pigtail make the connection process pretty straightforward? Your update could make it easier for others adding a hidden brake controller to the same setup.
