I’d like to install the Curt RVI Shadow 2 on a 2024 Jeep Gladiator. I’m curious as to how big dimensions the compressor is. I’m afraid I may not have enough room for it. It’s tight under the hood. Or do you have a recommend mounting spot?

Hey Scott,
Curt RVibrake Shadow 2 Flat Tow Brake System - Wireless Monitor - Proportional - Fixed # RVI94FR has a Booster box that measures 6" long x 5-1/2" wide x 2-3/4" tall. The install guide advises mounting the Booster Box in the engine compartment of the Jeep Gladiator, near the vacuum line of the master booster. Currently we don’t have a install video on the Jeep Gladiator, I’ve attached an install video on the Jeep Wrangler for reference. Please check under the hood to verify you have a space big enough based off the booster box dimensions. What caused the concern for fitment of the Booster Box?

James, Thanks for the measurements of the Booster Box. There is not sufficient room under my 2024 Jeep Gladiator hood for anything that size. I’ve decided to go with the Blue OX Patriot Proportional Braking system.
