Question:

hi, ive got a 2008 toyota tundra with a tow package installed. i bought the truck used so i do not know if the tow package is factory or was installed aftermarket, but i do have a 7 pin receiver next to my hitch receiver. i like the look of the redarc elite due to it fitting nicely into one of my blank cutouts in my dash. which exact knob do i need, ive noticed a few of them and i am confused. also, which other trim parts or wiring harness would i need for this to be a clean install?

Hey Ben! It looks like you already ordered the Redarc Tow-Pro Elite Brake Controller # RED56CR. One way or another that will work with your 2008 Toyota Tundra. If you have the factory tow package the custom wiring harness included with this version of the Elite will plug right in under the dash. It also includes a universal wiring harness so you can use that if it was an aftermarket 7-way.

The Mounting Panel for Redarc Tow-Pro Trailer Brake Controller Control Knob # 331-TPSI-002 is the correct panel for your truck. This fits the 2003 to 2017 Tundra so you're all set there, and that is everything you need for a clean installation.

What will you be towing once you get the brake controller installed?
