Can Safe-T Plus Steering Stabilizer Replace Roadmaster Reflex on Tiffin Allegro
Updated 03/25/2026 | Published 03/22/2026 >
Question:
I ordered the st28mr and received Friday then went ro install it saturday. i was surpised when I rolled undet my tiffin that it had a roadmaster rssa stabilizer already installed. i wondered why my steering was still drifting with it. I noticed that it had cracked where the outside spring attached on the part where the RSSA insigna is. It was separating any time I steered so it was not working. I took it off and installed the Safe t plus in it place and straightened the steering wheel and locked it in place. Took it for s drive and was really happy to report the tiffen drove straight without no drifting even when I went strsight with no hands on steering wheel.

Hey Benny, that's pretty crazy! I'm glad you got your steering under control but yeah that had to have been quite the surprise when you got under there and realized you already had a stabilizer. Because the spring is on the inside of the Safe-T Plus Steering Stabilizer part # ST28MR it will be protected more than the Roadmaster. Are you happy overall with the handling? You might check to see if you have a rear sway bar installed as well.

I’m taking rv out on a 100 mi drive to a rv park in Stockton, ca area. Should see how it will handle turns and straights without drifting.
