Hey Richard, thanks for the information! I just spoke with Lippert and your Jayco Eagle has a Rhino pin box. To convert your standard kingpin pin box to a gooseneck connection, I recommend the Gen-Y Hitch item # GY33GR.

The Gen-Y Hitch item # GY33GR has a rubber torsion-flex system that absorbs road shock from your trailer before it's transferred to your truck. It also helps with that push pull chucking feeling you get too. This pin box focuses on driver comfort and it definitely delivers.

The MORryde option for a Rhino Box is their GooseTech item # MR74MV. This gooseneck adapter is going to help with chucking but it does not do as good of a job at absorbing bumps and road shock before it gets transferred to your truck.

You will also need the Safety Chain with 2 Hooks for Gen-Y 5th Wheel to Gooseneck Pin Box item # GY49GR for either pin box. Safety chains are required for gooseneck connections and they are not included with the pin boxes. These will attach to that cross looking cutout by the Gen-Y and MORryde logos.

What kind of truck do you have and how long is the bed? Gooseneck pin boxes do not help with turning clearance so if you're driving a shorter bed truck, I can recommend some offset adapters depending on what kind of gooseneck hitch you have or if you have a factory puck system.

You can add this information, along with any other questions you have, where it says Add Comment.

Thanks. I have a 8 foot bed and a B&W turnover setup. I currently use a B&W slider hitch with no clearance issues in the locked position. Never used the slide feature. I appreciate the response. Rich
