What Info is Needed to Pick Out Torklift Glowstep

Updated 03/30/2026 | Published 03/21/2026

Question:

I am looking to purchase Torque Lift Revolution scissor steps. I have a 2025 Forest River Microlite 22FBS. I currently have Morryde strut assist with 3 steps and looking to replace with Revolution. Which model would I need? Want the steps to fold inside the camper door opening. Thanks

Hey Brenda, to pick out the correct Torklift Glowsteps I would need to know the doorway threshold height of your Forest River Microlite. For example, if the height is between 23-1/2" - 34-1/2" the part # TLA7833 would be the correct fit. Let me know what your height is and I'll see what correct fit is!

What aren't you a fan of on the MORryde steps?

Have used these for 4 years and they are still rock solid. Height is variable within limits. IF you always use these when the camper is on the truck, height is static and you can get that pretty precise. Legs adjust and you can add 2x6 or plastic spacers under the ground contact points. FIrst (lowest) step is variable height depending upon the leg height setting you need. I often take the camper off the truck when camping (so I can use the truck to tow boat etc). Steps work best when camper is off truck for me. When on the truck, camper is much higher and I need to add wood under the ground contact points. I may also need to add a platform step as the last step so the height is not too crazy, IF you tow -when your camper is on, make sure the steps clear your hitch apparatus. IF not, you could always remove the steps but much more convenient to leave them on.

The drawbridge style makes storage parking much more difficult than it needs to be. Door needs to line up perfectly between studs. Otherwise they’ve been fine.
