Hello Cez,

I just want to confirm that you have a straight spindle, meaning both of your bearings have an inner diameter of 1 1/16.

The Easy Grease Trailer Idler Hub Assembly for 2K Axles - 10" to 12" Wheels - 5 on 4-1/2 Bolt Pattern - Pre-Greased # AKIHUB-545-2-EZ-1K comes with two bearings that have a 1" inner diameter, bearing number L44643, so that would not be the correct fit for you.

Instead you would need bearings with an inner diameter of 1.063", bearing number L44649. In that case, the Easy Grease Trailer Idler Hub Assembly for 2K Axles - 10" to 12" Wheels - 5 on 4-1/2 Bolt Pattern - Pre-Greased # AKIHUB-545-2-EZ-2K would be the correct option. If you would prefer a galvanized hub to help resist corrosion, you can use # AKIHUB-545-2-G-EZ-2K.

Our hubs are sold individually, so you will want to order two if you are replacing both sides.

The reason I ask is that we do not have a database that tells us exactly what components are installed on every trailer model. From the research I was able to do, it looks like your trailer most likely uses a straight spindle. The easiest way to confirm fitment is to check that both bearings are the same size.

What kind of kayak do you have? Do you have a favorite body of water you like to paddle on?

We actually have a really cool race here in Missouri called the MR340. It starts in Kansas City on the Missouri River and runs 340 miles all the way to St. Charles, MO. It is quite the adventure. Are you up for the challenge?

I designed and built a small light weight trailer for hauling used pallets. The customer wanted something that would be light and strong, so he could use it behind his small SUV. The trailer was built all from aluminum except for the axles. It was approx. 12 feet long and 8 feet wide and with the smaller wheels, 10 inches it kept the height only 24 inches off the ground.

@JoeF Very cool Joe! I wonder what kind of cool stuff they make from those pallets. Thanks for sharing =)
