Question:

I wondered if the Yakima Exo system will fir on my 2020 Winnebago Boldt. It is a Mercedes Benz Sprinter 3500. I am concerned because it has a roof ladder on the rear passenger door.

Hey there David, good question.

I see what you mean about your 2020 Winnebago Boldt (nice RV by the way) on the sprinter 3500 having a ladder that could interfere with the Yakima EXO Swing Away Storage System w/ Enclosed Cargo Carrier and Rack # Y44ZR.

The closest part of the rack from the hitch pin hole on your RV is only 4-1/2" away. I'm going to go ahead and assume you ladder extends past the hitch pin hole more than 4-1/2". If so, you can add the only approved extender for this system, being the # Y69VR. It will push the system back another 7-1/4" which should be enough to clear your ladder setup.

One thing to note is that the extender reduces hitch capacity by 50%, so make sure your RV hitch at 50% is still enough to carry the EXO system (151 lbs total) plus the cargo in the system.
