Hey Mike, since your 2020 Grand Design Imagine 2600RB came with 4,400 lb Dexter axles the correct hub/drum replacement would be the part # 8-407-5UC3-EZ and then for a set of left and right matching brake assemblies you'd need the part # K23-478-479. Did one of the hubs fail while on the highway?

Just be careful. I went through 3-4 agents, they got it wrong 4x's. Finally, when I thought we had it right, I changed directions and sold the camper. Come to find out from the folks I sold it to, found that those brakes and drums were the wrong ones too. They were only traveling 100 miles or so as a seasonal. We were planning to travel to Tennessee. Imagine the problem we would have had.

I bought the trailer hub and drum assembly for a piece of mine. I keep the assembly and some grease in my RV storage area just in case. I have a Freedom Express with 4400 lb. Dexter axles.

Part Number: 8-407-5UC3-EZ was a perfect fit for the Dexter 4400 lb. ez lube with “10 drums. The drums came with the races pressed in.

We have a 2021 Grand Design 2670MK which uses the same running gear as 2600RB. The most important item to consider when replacing brakes and Hub assemblies is the axel manufacturer. Our trailer has Dexter and the correct part numbers are: K23-479-00 Right side (2 places) K23-478-00 Left side (2 places) K23-478-479 (4 places) You may also want to consider bearing grease TMK79ZR Timken Hi-Temp Red Grease for Disc and Drum Brakes - 1-lb Tub Lastly, inspect your order thoroughly upon receipt. Not when starting the work. One of four of our hub assemblies had the wrong bearing set. The assemblies do not come pre-lubed or assembled, therefore the opportunity for wrongly picked bearings is a reality. ps. I recommend you search YouTube for proper burnishing techniques for your new drum brakes. This is a very important step that many installers overlook.
