Question:
I want a fully loaded hub to make life simple if I have a problem on the road. The hub says 8-407, there are no other numbers after that. What do the numbers mean?

Hey Greg, what you have is the Dexter 4,400 lb trailer axle hub like the part # 8-407-5UC3-EZ. This comes with the needed replacement bearings and seals but it is not pre-installed and greased like some options. Due to how rare this hub is there isn't a pre-greased option we can offer.

Hey Greg, how did things go with the Dexter 4,400 lb hub you were looking at? I'm curious if it met your needs even though it didn’t come pre-greased. Your update could make it easier for others choosing between similar hub setups.
