Availability Of Replacement Carbon Monoxide/Propane Alarm For RVCOLP-2 That Expired

Updated 03/10/2026 | Published 03/05/2026

Question:

For our RV, we currently have the black RVCOLP-2 carbon monoxide / propane gas alarm, and it just expired. I dont see this model on your website. What should I replace this with? Thanks for your help. I tried to upload a photo of it, but I think Verizon is too weak here today because your site keeps saying upload unsuccessful.

Hey Mary,

All of the RV Carbon monoxide/Propane combo alarms are cross-compatible, though do have different designs most of the time.

We have the # RS54FR in black or # RS34FR that will work as a replacement for you. Both options are the Combo Carbon Monoxide/Propane alarm, and just install by connecting the power and ground wires to your existing power and ground wires behind your current alarm.

Good looking out for the date on the alarm! Most people don't even realize they expire

We have a 06C210P and replaced an old one with this model. Easy swap out and has worked well for 3 years. Highly recommend.
