Is The Design Of The Aqua Magic IV The Same As The Aqua Magic V?

Question:

Can you tell me if the Aqua magic VI toilet as the same design problem of the Aqua Magic V, the bowl inner wall and the outer wall casing are open between the flap and the outlet seal. See this explanation for picture: https://www.roadtreklife.net/2017/09/dometic-300-series-low-profile-toilet.html

Hey Rodrigue,

The Thetford Aqua-Magic Vi # TH24SE is going to have the similar design as the previous Aqua-Magic in it being hollow between the bowl and outer casting. I attached a photo of the toilet from below where it would attach to the black tank that shows the hollow area between. This design is used to keep the total weight of the toilet down for those RV/ trailer applications.

Are you looking for something that would be more like a residential toilet, full in the middle?

I have a Roadtrek Zion SRT and space between the hole and wall is very limited. That's why I don't really have many choices that will fit that small space. And I really need the low profile. Do you have any suggestions? Rod

@Rod If size is a concern on the toilet, the Aqua-Magic VI are the only ones that small that we carry. We have similar Thetford models but they jump up in size by about 2" from center flange to the wall. If you need something close to the 7-5/8 like the Aqua-Magic, that is all we carry. How much room do you have to work with?

@Rod No worries I hope your holiday weekend was well! I was out as well for the holiday weekend. I was more "glamping" but I will count a cabin on a lake as camping! Let me know what you find out!
