Question:
Hello. Do you have this item with a stainless steel option? AKIHUB-545-35-G-K
asked by: Joey N
Expert Reply:
Hey Joey! Our own etrailer branded hubs like # AKIHUB-545-35-G-K only come with the galvanized or standard finish. For a stainless steel idler hub you need the Kodiak # KH84545S. This does not come with bearings so you can use # BK2-100 for a complete bearing kit.
What kind of trailer are you putting the hub on? I'm assuming it is something like a boat trailer where corrosion is a concern. You can also add the Bearing Buddy Bearing Protectors # BB1980A-SS to keep water and dirt out of the hub/bearings. These have a stainless steel construction as well.

I notice the studs are longer than usual. Do you have stainless lug nuts that will fit for this?
