Question:
I have a 2024 silverado 3500 dually with a factory 2 1/2inch hitch. I need a 4ft extension and frame mounted camper hold down brackets. The boat Im pulling is only 2000lbs but might want to pull a bigger trailer sometime.

Hey Dale, thanks for reaching out. We can provide all of that! Here are the frame mounted tie downs and hitch extension I recommend for your 2024 Chevy 3500 Dually:
- TorkLift Tie Downs - Custom Frame Mount - Front and Rear # TL94PR
- Titan Hitch Box Extension for 2-1/2" Trailer Hitches, 41" - 48" Long # RP45018
For the tie downs, they will fit the 8' bed dually models without running boards, or with running boards that are cab length only. The rear tie downs will work with the factory hitch.
The extension is rated for 4,000 lbs at 48" so it'll work great for your 2,000 lb boat.
Keep in mind the turnbuckles are sold separately, and for that the TorkLift Locking FastGun Turnbuckles for Frame-Mounted Tie-Downs # TLS9529-2-LK.
What kind of camper do you have? Any cool trips planned?

My tie downs worked fine but I did have to shim the right side rear it was made wrong and the outer part would not clear the fender

I have a GMC 3500 DRW with cab length running boards they fit great with no problems at installation. I bought the fast guns and locks they are super easy to take on and off. I also have a 48” hitch I pull a polarkraft 179 frontier with no problem my camper is Artic Fox 1150 dry bath.

Hi Dale. I've installed the torklift tie downs and torklift super 30k hitch and use a 48" super truss and pull a 7k cargo trailer. I 1st tried a Curt 48 extension but that didn't work well. So I bought the torklift 48 ext. But. You will need to buy rear torklift tie downs that are correct for the torklft 20 or 30k hitch. The 48" torklift super truss works great with that set up.

I installed the tie downs and they are working great. Did not have to drill any holes which was nice. In terms of the hitch extension I’ve been looking at these as well. At this point I’m leaning towards replacing the factory hitch and installing the one that has two large square tubes. I have a 2021 Chevy 3500HD. Hope this helps.
