Question:
2026 Coachman Brookstone 374RK. Can the top be removed to store cargo if the cargo is too tall? How sturdy is the cargo carrier while traveling?

Expert Reply:
Hey Ted, congrats on the new 5th wheel trailer. The top of the 24x60 etrailer Enclosed Cargo Carrier item # e34VV can not be removed. The bottom is completely open so the side pieces rely on the top to hold the entire cage together. The entire cage is removable though.
The cage and cargo carrier item # e34VV are extremely sturdy. It's designed specifically to withstand the extra bouncing and turbulence you'll get at the end of a trailer. It's designed to attach directly to a 4" x 4" and 4-1/2" wide x 4" tall RV bumpers.
