Question:
I have a 1979 Chevy C10 2WD that Im wanting to use to haul a trailer. 16foot Open Car Hauler 2axle Currently my truck has lowered suspension and has an axle flip/c-notch in the rear. Along with a Class-V hitch, and these helping springs Im hoping to level the truck while I haul my car, Have there been any correspondence with anyone that has used this kit on a Squarebody c10 that had a c-notch? And whether or not it was compatible? Thank You!

Hello Aaron, thanks for reaching out. We do have air bag kits for the 1979 Chevy C10, but nothing that would work with a lowered suspension. Everything we have is designed for the stock ride height.
What you can use instead is the RoadActive Suspension Custom Leaf Spring Enhancement Kit # RAS4611-T. These install on the leaf springs and will give you 2,000 lbs of additional support. They will help reduce sagging and increase stability and control. The RAS is compatible with lowered trucks as long as you have not modified the factory leaf springs.

Hey Aaron, how did things go with the RoadActive Suspension kit on your lowered C10? It’d be great to hear if it helped keep the truck level while hauling your car. Your update could make it easier for others working with similar setups.
