Availability Of Replacement Rod, Screw And Nut For A-Frame Jack TJA-2000S-B

Updated 01/10/2026 | Published 12/22/2025

Question:

For the TJA-2000S sidewind A Frame jack, can you tell me 1. What is the replacement internal jack rod/screw and nut? Also, do you sell it? 2 I was told that this rod/screw has one end flat? If this is true, why is this and what is the flatness used for? 3 Do you have a picture of the rod? If it is not available to buy, I may be able to make one. The picture attached is borrowed from this page. Thank you.

Hey Steve, hope you are well! Unfortunately, we do not offer a replacement rod, screw and nut for the # TJA-2000S-B jack. We have replacement gears, but the rod and nut are not available as a replacement part. I wish we did because then I could go look at one and tell you if it has the flat end or not, but I'm afraid I don't have a way to answer that question or to get a picture of the rod. If the rod screw or nut in your jack has failed, the only solution I can offer would be a whole new jack. Luckily, they aren't terribly expensive.

Do you have an old jack you are trying to repair?

@JesseM Hey Steve, Gotta admit I don't know the internal details of this jack. My old one succumbed to many winters of weekly 3 day camp trailer stays in the snow and rain at the ski area where I patrol. Salt on the highway going up and down from town didn't help. The new one bolted right in and has been reliable ever since. Good luck with your project! Geoff

hi steve i am building a slide in camper and am using these for the stability jacks anyway so far they are working fine no idea what internals look like as i haven't disassembled them they could use a folding handle or a connection for a drill for lowering etc but otherwise fine. i can use the exorcise.
