Can You Feel Scale of Trailer Valet with Scale Jack Moving When Walking in Trailer
Updated 12/29/2025 | Published 12/11/2025 >
Question:
Since this jack is also a scale, does it have a tendency to move as the weight shifts when moving around in the trailer? Also, what is the max tongue weight it will support? Thanks, Kurt

Hey Kurt, while the Trailer Valet jack pat # TV95FR does have a scale built into it the scale does not move to the point that you would physically be able to feel it moving if that's what you are asking. If instead you are asking if the numbers on the scale would change the answer to that would be yes.
Since this jack has a static weight capacity of 5,000 lb that would be the number the scale would max out at.

Hey Kurt, how did the Trailer Valet jack and built-in scale work out for you once you had it on your trailer? It’d be great to hear if the scale readings stayed steady while you moved around. Your update could make it easier for others curious about how accurate the scale feels in use.
