Replacement Hub/Drum for a Shorelandr Boat Trailer

Updated 11/24/2025 | Published 11/22/2025

Question:

Hi. I have a Shorelandr boat trailer. I know Shorelandr has some unique sizes specific to their stuff that doesnt match a lot of aftermarket. I just replaced my old axle with a new Shorelandr axle 3500 with tapered spindle 1-3/8inch x 1-1/16. I need hubs and bearings. The spindle has a wear sleeve ID 1.732, OD 1.749 and they recommend their grease seal ID 1.75, OD 2.561. Can you recommend a pre-packed hub or Hub Kit Hub+bearings that will fit? I want to make sure I get the right things. Any help?

Thanks for your question!

All of the hubs we carry meet industry-standard specifications. The hub # AKHD-545-35-EZ-K will work great for your setup as long as your bolt pattern is 5 on 4-1/2". That’s a very common pattern, but it’s always a good idea to double-check just to be sure. I’ve included a link to a help article that walks you through a few easy ways to confirm your bolt pattern.

The bearings that come with the hub will fit perfectly, but you’ll need a different grease seal. The one included with the hub won’t match your spindle, so you’ll want to grab part #TMK29ZR instead.

Thank you! One quick point is that I don’t need a hub/brake drum like you indicated. Just a normal 5 on 4.5” idler hub. I can get the OEM seal from shorelandr and I ordered hub kit: AKIHUB-545-35-EZ-K
