Can a 2025 Ram 2500 with Ram Boxes Tow Fifth Wheel Trailer

Will the new MORryde GooseTech 5th Wheel to Gooseneck hitch work in a Ram 2500 with Ramboxes? Is there enough clearance for it not to strike the bed during turns?

Hey Brett, a MORryde GooseTech fifth wheel to gooseneck adapter like the part # MR47MV will not work with the Ram Boxes that you have in your truck as the pivot point isn't any higher. So around corners the adapter would hit the boxes.
Instead only option is a Sidewinder like the part # RP34FR which moves the pivot point up and above the Ram Box height. You'd then need a fixed hitch like the Blue Ox Patriot part # BW29XR which comes with the correct rail kit for your 2025 Ram 2500 as well. There isn't anyway to use a fifth wheel to gooseneck adapter. What trailer do you have?

Thank you Jameson. I already have the B&W fifth wheel hitch. We have a 41ft Grand Design Reflection. I was hoping to get away from the hitch in the bed. Oh well
