Can The Turret Be Replaced On A Reese Sidewinder To Fit A Different Bolt Pattern

Question:
Hello, I’m not sure if you can help me or not. I was given a sidewinder pin box by a friend of mine that wasn’t using his. My question is, my trailer has a fabex 520 pin box on it now. How do I tell what turret the sidewinder I was given has, and is it the right turret for the fabex 520? If I figure out it’s not, can I replace just the turret with the correct one. The sidewinder is an older non air ride pin box. Thank you

The SW16K part number only correlates to the Sidewinder and not the turret. There should be another sticker somewhere that lists a code like ST100, ST200, ST300, ST400, or ST500 to let you know which turret you have.
You can replace the turret with part # RP61300-01 to be compatible with a Fabex 520 bolt pattern.
