Can I Use the Counteract Double Seal Flow-Through Tire Valve Cap w/a External TMPS Sensor?

I have a situation where I flat tow a vehicle behind a motorhome and am installing a external tmps system on both. The problem is that there is not enough room to tighten the sensor down on the tow vehicle due to a hubcap. Would this extension work or is there a different product available. Thanks

Hey Brian. I spoke with Counteract and their Double Seal Flow-Through Tire Valve Cap item # CA48FR is not compatible with external TMPS sensors. The flow through caps are not designed to hold an additional cap on them as they act as a double seal cap and a inflation cap in one.
Instead, I recommend using one of the following TireMinder Valve Extenders designed specifically for that purpose.
135 Degree Valve Extender item # TM84SR
90 Degree Valve Extender item # TM97SR

Hey Brian, how did things go with the TireMinder valve extenders for your flat-towed setup? Did one of those angles give you enough clearance around the hubcap? Your update could make it easier for the next person dealing with the same space issue.
