Question:
Is the 3 inch pad heater flexible enough to mount on a curved transmission pan?

Alan, the Zerostart Silicone Pad Heater # ZE75MR has a small amount of flex for slightly curved or uneven metal surfaces, but it’s not meant to wrap around corners or big bends. The heating element needs full, even contact to transfer heat properly. Make sure the metal is clean and dry, warm it up a bit (around 100°F) before applying, and press it firmly in place for a solid bond.
Are you planning to use it on a vehicle or on stationary equipment? That’ll help narrow down the best mounting spot or if the magnetic version # ZE35MR is better here.
