Is the Dexter Dual Hydraulic Jack System Self Leveling?

Question:
Looking at the DX42CR PJD-12-20-K Dual jack system. Are these set up to be self leveling? Alot of the time we are on hills or slopes and one jack may reach the ground before the other. Will the divider valve allow the flow to level up the load?

Hey Tony. The Dexter Dual Hydraulic Jack System w/ Double Acting Pump item # DX42CR does not have a self leveling function. It's either up or down. The pivoting foot pads on the bottom of the jacks are what this system relies on when you're using it on uneven terrain. The pressured system is going to work normally on uneven and level ground.
What kind of trailer do you have?

Hey Tony, how did the Dexter dual jack system work out for you on those hills and slopes? Did the pivoting foot pads give you enough stability when one side reached the ground first? Your experience could help others using this setup on uneven terrain.
