Looking For Pump To Connect 5-Gallon Water Jug To Sink Top Faucet

Updated 11/13/2025 | Published 10/26/2025

Question:

Looking to use this pump to connect a 5 gallon water bottle to a sink top faucet and an ice maker. Just checking to see if this would work ok? Have looked at several other types that are made just for that application, but it appears theyre not very reliable. Also looked at a 12V model you have, but of course that requires me to find a 120V to 12V voltage convertor.

Hello Deane, thanks for reaching out. Sounds like you are on the right track here because a variable flow 115v/120v pump like the Seaflo Diaphragm Pump for Boats and RVs # SE96FR. Is exactly what you would want for that. It has automatic start and stop pressure switch so it would work great with a sink top faucet.

Hey Deane, how did the Seaflo diaphragm pump end up working with your sink faucet and ice maker setup? It sounds like a good fit for that kind of use. Sharing how it performed could help others planning a similar setup.
