Ready to purchase a BandW fifth wheel slider hitch I have a 2026 Dodge ram 2500 series, 6‘4“ bed with a OEM fifth wheel prep in it would like a 16 K to 18 K hitch could you recommend, thanks

For your 2026 Ram 2500 short bed with the factory pucks, we have two B&W options, which I have listed below:
B&W Companion OEM 5th Wheel Hitch w/ Slider - Ram Towing Prep Package - 20K # BWRVK3670
B&W Companion OEM 5th Wheel Hitch (Fixed) - Ram Towing Prep Package - 25K # BWRVK3600
B&W seems to be getting away from the lower rated hitches as the vast majority of trucks nowadays have a lot more capacity than they used to. And it is never a bad thing to have a hitch that is rated a bit higher than it needs to be.
What are you going to be towing? We do have hitches rated for 16k to 18k, but they will not be B&W, unfortunately.
