Hi Amy!

The RockyMounts GuideRail Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 1-1/4" Hitches - Wheel Mount # RKY47ZR can be used with some bikes with fenders, but it is going to depend on said fenders. What kind of bikes will you be carrying? Some do have short fenders that don't really go past the forks/frame, and that can fit, but most do end up extending too far. If you look at the picture I included, you can see what I mean.

Though a little more expensive, I think the Thule EasyFold XT Bike Rack for 2 Electric Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Frame Mount # TH903202 is the better choice. You can attach this to the frame or seat post (if you have a carbon fiber frame), so it is more versatile with what it can carry. It also fits 1-1/4" and 2" hitches, so you can move it between vehicles easier if you ever need to.

Let me know what kind of bikes you have, or how far down the tires the fenders go, and I can definitely see if the RockyMounts will work for you.

9/18/2025 If I go with a rack that can be used on 1 1/4 and 2 inch hitch, which adapter does it use. I do not want to use an adapter at all to place rack on my 1 1/4 inch hitch as I will lose 50% weight capabilities. This is why I did not consider any rack that fits both sizes of hitches. Which narrowed down my options on racks Thanks I would prefer a frame mount over a wheel mount. Just do not want to use any adapters

@Amy You've done your homework on hitch adapters! Typical adapters will cut your capacity in half, but the one used on the Thule EasyFold # TH903202 actually bolts onto the shank and you will not loose any capacity when using it. You will need to keep track of it when not is use, but it you toss it in a center console or something you will always know where it is.

@LazerS I would need a rack that can hold 2 60lb bikes. Using only a 1 1/4 inch hitch. Hence why I was only looking at hitches of that size. You have some that will work, just need to make sure the fenders won't be a problem. I have an Evelo Omega and a Vtuvia. I think the RockyMounts GuideRail Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 1-1/4" Hitches - Wheel Mount Might work!

@Amy It might, but definitely double check. The pictures I found of Evelo Omega and Vtuvia bikes did have various fender designs and some did look compatible. The Thule would definitely work with either bike and 1-1/4" hitches as well, so just keep that one in mind if the fenders end up being too long. : )
