To replace the Duo Therm AC unit on your 2006 Holiday Rambler Ambassador I recommend the Furrion Chill HE RV Air Conditioner System - Manual - 15,000 Btu - White # FR92PR.

The # FR92PR AC unit is a perfect replacement for your older Duo Therm unit and since the air distribution box has a built-in thermostat, it's compatible with both ducted and non-ducted systems and no complicated wiring is required. It fits the same opening (14" square) and uses the same 110v. wiring of any standard AC unit.

When testing similar Atwood and Advent AC units, we found that the Furrion Chill blew about 10 degrees cooler than its contenders. It also has a quicker start-up, which requires less power - something to keep in mind when using portable energy, like a generator. I also really like the overall more modern look of the Furrion rooftop unit.
