Availability of Lift Kit for Nose High 5th Wheel Trailer

Updated 09/16/2025 | Published 09/07/2025

Question:

I am about 5 3/4 nose high and need this bed rail to trailer clearance. I was thinking I can lift the trailer 2-3” MORyde suspension with lift blocks . Can you tell me which blocks to purchase? I am also looking to replace the tires and rims with the etrailer item below. Goodyear Endurance ST225/75R15 Radial Tire w/ 15 Eagle Aluminum Wheel - 6 on 5-1/2 - LR E I believe this will fit as well Thanks, Steve

Hey Steve! Are your axles overslung or underslung? If they're running under the axle you can use an axle flip kit to lift the trailer. If they're already on top of the axle the only option we have is the Correct Track # RR55QX. This kit will extend your hangers for a 1-1/4" or 2-1/4" lift. I'm guessing you have a tandem axle trailer so this triple axle kit will be required for the full 2-1/4" lift. The only other option would be to cut off your existing hangers and weld on longer ones.

What is your current tire size? If it is already ST225/75R15 and you have a 6 on 5-1/2 bolt pattern then there is no reason the Goodyear Endurance ST225/75R15 Radial Tire w/ 15" Eagle Aluminum Wheel # GY97QB would not fit. If this is a larger tire clearance may be an issue. I would raise the trailer, then measure for clearance to determine if they will fit or not before upgrading to a larger size.

Thanks for the guidance Robin. Looks like Part Number: RR55QX will work with my current suspension. Axles are overslung. With this kit I was looking to upgrade to Goodyear Endurance ST235/80R16 Radial Tire (6 lug).
