Question:
I have a 1999 ford f350 it currently has a prodigy brake controller. I’d like to upgrade to a redarc controller. The prodigy has a red white blue and black wire connection. Hoping you all can help with the upgrade. Thanks.

We can definitely help with that, Bobby!
You didn't mention which Redarc controller you were looking at, so I have three option for your 1999 Ford F350 listed below:
Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty Brake Controller w/ Universal Wiring Harness - Dash Knob - Proportional # RED52VR
Redarc Tow-Pro Elite Brake Controller w/ Universal Wiring Harness - Off-Road Mode - Proportional # RED44FR
Redarc Tow-Pro Elite Brake Controller for Tekonsha Harness - Off-Road Mode - Proportional # RED63RR
The first two will hardwire to the red, white, blue, and black wires you already have (which are pretty standard), but the 3rd one will actually use the Tekonsha plug you already have wired up. Whichever one you go with, it will be a good choice. Redarc controllers are among my favorites and they work very well. Just keep in mind the Tow-Pro Liberty will handle up to 2 axles and the Tow-Pro Elite controllers will handle up to 3 axles.
What kind of trailer will you be towing?

A tandem axle dump trailer a tandem axle travel trailer, and a 10 axle gooseneck equipment trailer. Don’t ever see me towing more than a tandem.
