Question:
My daughter has a 2024 Grand Design Reflection 295RL with a Curt Turning Point pin box. She is interested in reducing some of the chucking when towing. Would like to know if the current pin box could be replaced with the Curt Helux pin box. It seems you may need a different mounting plate. Current pin box pictures attached. Could also be interested in a Morryde cushioned pin box. Please advise.

Hey Scott! The Turning Point bolt pattern is unique so the Helux isn't an option. In fact, none of the cushioned pin boxes with a standard king pin are able to replace the Turning Point. Does your daughter have a long bed? If so, she could switch to a gooseneck setup using the Gen-Y # GY48GR or the Shocker Hitch # SHK69YR. If it is a short bed clearance may be an issue.
It looks like that Reflection already has the CRE3000 equalizers on it so that isn't an upgrade that can help. Another option would be to add the SumoSprings Trailer Helper Springs # SS26MV. Those are 5,100 lb overslung axles on the trailer so this would be the correct kit. One set of SumoSprings would be required for each axle.

Thank you for the reply. It is a short bed. But she has considered a Gen-Y. Perhaps with an offset ball because of being short bed. She already upgraded to the RoadMaster suspension with shocks. Did the same on my Solitude. What a difference!
