Question:
I see that this latch is lockable, does it include a lock, or do I need to pick one up separately?

Lisa, the 45" latch # M343FR has a built-in hasp so you can add a padlock, but M3 doesn’t include one. Most folks go with a basic padlock like # TMX64QR, but for more security you can instead go with the # ML40D since it's more difficult to get in there and cut or break.
If you already have a favorite lock you use on your coupler or toolbox, you can probably use the same style here for convenience.
And for others browsing, what locks have given you the best peace of mind with your cargo trailers?
